This is where I’m supposed to write something up in the 3rd person so you think that this is a major corporation. But the truth is, it’s just me, Sam. I am the one who started Wattsmen Diesel House. And if you read the tag line, you already know what WDH is about. 

But why did I start it? 

The short answer is I wanted an outlet to share all the useful knowledge, tips, and insight that has been shared with me throughout my 20+ years in the transportation industry. 

Over the past couple of years, I had noticed that the ones entering the field were either young or inexperienced or sometimes both. And it was apparent in some situations that they didn’t know exactly what they were doing. Not from lack of trying, but just from lack of training. In transportation, there is never a slow time. So a lot of times you have to learn in a trial by fire situation. 

So I created Wattsmen Diesel House to hopefully help with the learning process. 

I have worked in almost all aspects of transportation, and have experienced highs and lows along the way. I have made some good decisions along the way, but I have made even more bad decision. I have found success, but I have also tasted my fair share of failure along the way. And those are usually the best teachers. Hopefully some things I share can avoid you making the same bad calls that I did.
